Asia bound! The flight story

 

Leaving NOLA for the 28 hour journey to Hanoi, Vietnam. 

 This is the weight of each of our bags when we checked in for our flight! Talk about traveling light. I'm so proud :) We've been dwindling down our list of things we "need" on each trip we take. 22.5lbs is a new record!

 Airplane meals.... yum. At least there's all the wine you want in flight.

 When we landed in Tokyo for our layover, this is the first plane we saw. Nobody can say its a stereotype after seeing this plane! Hello Kitty, Hello Asia. After our flight to Houston, then our 13 hour flight to Tokyo, we got to stretch our legs for a few hours before taking the last 7 hour flight into Hanoi, Vietnam.

 Couldn't be happier to see our ride to the hotel! Apparently we were too excited to stand still for the picture, excuse the blurriness. Only one more hour till we arrive at our hotel.














Welcome drinks upon arrival to our hotel. At this point, we're just ready for a shower and some shut eye. Ready to see the sites tomorrow!
